Here are some clips of an MBD, Avraham Fried and Yeedle concert in Manchester, England. The captions are quite insightful.

Here is yet another version of Niggun Neshoma. Although I don’t know who’s singing or who’s playing, I am 99.9% sure that it was arranged by Ron Tichon, based on the style of arrangement and sounds used.

Towncrier has a cute Apprentice related video and asks if this is a Miami Boys Choir song.

  1. Im pretty sure that the niggun neshoma is ohad and the kinderlach together.

  2. Hi, just stumbled onto your blog. Just curious what you think about Destiny, The Yeshiva Boys Choir, The Kinderlach and Yishai Lapidot/Oif Simches in general?

  4. Hi Frumgirl,

Unfortunately, keyboardguy did not have time to post his reply to your question so instead I will post his responses.

Destiny- The singer Eli Nathan is usually off key, he uses way too much autotune, the words are corny, and the musical arrangements are way too simple. But if you like that kind of thing, you will love this!

Yeshiva Boys Choir- As I’ve already mentioned, I would rather listen to a full recording of a frog with downs syndrome, than listen to a minute of these kids and eli gerstner. But its great if you are into this kind of thing.

Kinderlach- just like YBC only ten times worse! So if you really really really liked YBC, maybe you will like this too.

Oif Simchas- They are great! just wonderful!

I just want to clarify that these are my opinions and are solely based on my musical expertise. You can disagree with my assessments (though of course, you will be wrong.)

  5. pepper-

I had time to respond – I thought that frumgirl would pick up on the subtlety of my message, but obviously you didn’t. Her questions are totally reasonable, it’s just that it has nothing at all to do with this post, and it would have been appropriate for these questions to be asked through the medium of e-mail, and not in response to a post which has nothing to do with them.

Also, please don’t try to say things in my name, especially if they’re patently wrong. Thanks.
